Web & Multimedia Designer: Salt Lake City, UT
The Web & Multimedia Designer is required to provide high quality design elements while managing the volume of work associated with the duties outlined below. Through web design, in store marketing, digital marketing, and brand identity this individual is responsible for the consistent delivery of the brand’s position, promise and personality.
Designer will be the company’s point of contact for graphic design, with primary emphasis on web strategies, while upholding the integrity of the brand position, promise and personality.
The Web & Graphic Designer needs to be self-motivated and take part in leading the strategic vision of our print and digital assets and review/approval processes. Attention to detail, creativity, multi-tasking, time management, work flow optimization and meeting deadlines are crucial to succeeding in this position.
Proactively maintain, refresh and continually innovate the web presence and to ensure the website(s) is established as industry leading both for desktop and mobile environments.
Drive the development of the UX/UI
Drive content development, engagement, and promotions
In-store Marketing: Help create directional, branded and campaign signage that works together throughout our stores to create a cohesive, consistent store experience for our guests. In-Store Marketing (ISM) must consider print standards, store layout, key stakeholder relationships, creative, production and guest experience.
Digital Marketing: Enhance and extend online client brands. You’ll help us leverage this powerful medium in new and exciting ways, deepening guest relationships through innovative creative and strategies.
Create content for digital signage in use on retail floors
Create printed advertising materials such as billboard, in-store POP, semi-permanent merchandising, ads, and sales collateral that will correctly represent the brand
Design promotional retail merchandising and point of purchase materials
Provide graphic needs to other departments (Sales, Ops, HR, Training, IT, etc) as needed
Ensure synergies between campaign messages and designs
Embrace the brand guidelines in all areas of the business.
Maintain brand guidelines and update as needed.
Educate needed individuals on the importance of brand compliancy and provide them usage guidelines to work within
Be up-to-date on Apple guidelines and compliance standards
Maintain relationships with internal & external contacts as necessary
Continue to find ways to reduce costs, increase quality and shorten production times
Identify and implement systems to increase efficiencies in work flow
Provide constant communication on projects and insure every project is delivered on time and on budget.
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
- Ability to write HTML for the web is strongly recommended.
- Extended experience with CMS environments strongly preferred, Shopify Plus would be ideal.
- Previous UX/UI development a plus as well as Sales Force Marketing Cloud experience.
- 4 or more years of related experience required.
- Working ability to communicate effectively with others, using written and spoken English.
- Detailed knowledge of CS including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
- Proficiency in all Apple and Mac products and applications
- Proficiency in all Microsoft applications.
