We are looking for a lawn care technician who is ready to work and hungry for more. Experience is a plus, but we’re mostly interested in finding someone who meets our standards of hard work, ethics, and engagement.
This is a seasonal position - March-Nov
We’re looking for someone who:
Is committed to our core values (which you can read here) and will fit our company culture. We are very serious about this. Expect to spend time serving the community. If that’s not you, you’re not the right person.
Is relatively physically fit and ready to work long hours outside.
Can work independently.
Can communicate well with co-workers and with our clients.
Has the right temperament for teamwork.
Lives local (20 Miles) and is always punctual
This company has grown substantially every year we have been in business. Master this position, show us your dedication, and you WILL have opportunities to move up.
Here is an idea of what a day would look like:
Arrive neatly dressed (shirt tucked in, clean, and well-groomed) between 6:30-7:00 am and prep your truck.
Have a 5-minute meeting with the Production Manager to discuss the upcoming day.
For every single property serviced, you will use a tablet to read requirements and notes, clock in and out, add notes and answer questions, and then mark the service completed.
Complete each job (you will be working with fertilizer, compost, and weed control).
Often a client will want to come out and say “hi” or ask a question. You will need to understand what we are doing and be able to communicate well with them. [We offer bonuses for customer happiness]
Report any specific notes or requests and make sure all “paperwork” is completed for the day on the tab.
At the end of the day, you will clean your truck and prep for the next day, charge equipment, and report back to the manager.
This job is average 40-45 hours a week.
Our team has spent years pursuing the right balance of local fertilizers, humates, micronutrients, iron, and homemade compost tea to mix the perfect blend of soil food needed for Northern Utah. After having tested 50+ products and dozens of application methods, we believe that our eco-friendly hybrid program of conventional and all-natural products is the best thing you can do for the long-term health of your lawn and for the environment.
We are a service company that applies treatments to both commercial and residential clients.
We have a great company culture and you will be appreciated!
